Marissa Nadler is set to take on a bigger audience with the US release of Songs III: Bird On The Water (Kemado), out August 7, with a subsequent tour to follow. The breathy soprano, who has been compared to artists such as Kate Bush, has gained a momentous following along the way of her two previous records on Eclipse. Nadler's been known to cover Pearls Before Swine's "Ballad Of The Amber Lady," but if American psych-rock reduxes aren't your thing, catch her at one of her in-store signings and ask for a Radiohead cover instead.
